Course load: 6 EC
Course ID: 180421036Y

The Thesis Course 2 is the final stage of the CMP trajectory. The course is designed as a seminar format in order to provide a collective platform to support the individual data analysis and writing process developed together with the supervisor. The meetings take place every other week in order to allow enough time to work on assignments (thesis chapters) with support of your supervisor. In each meeting, the students will report their progress (in form of assignments) and problems and doubts emerging during this process will be discussed. The order of the assignments is tailor made according to preference of each student in agreement with the supervisor.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

- apply academic analytical and writing skills through the thesis writing process
- To practice peer-reviewing of academic texts by giving and receiving comments on chapter drafts

Form of instruction and assessment
Bi-weekly meetings combine a collective discussion on general issues raised by the students regarding their progress on data analysis and academic writing followed by a peer-review session of chapter drafts

The course material will be the chapter drafts uploaded bi-weekly on Canvas as assignments for the peer-review sessions.

For the examination dates please consult the timetable on
