Discover the CEDLA library
The collection consists of books, journals and microforms about Latin America. Our collection can be searched through the catalogues of the Library of the University of Amsterdam. There are facilities for reading, studying, printing, copying and scanning.
UvA CataloguePlus gives access to databases and e-journals. All digital content is freely available within various UvA libraries from the general access PCs. UvA students and staff members can access databases and e-journals to which the Library subscribes also from outside the UvA by logging in with their UvAnetID.
The CEDLA Library has an extensive collection of print journals. E-journals can be found through the UvA Catalogues. To find articles you can use the UvA CataloguePlus, or, for articles about Latin America only, HAPI online (available within the UvA domain).
CEDLA has 20.000 microfiches and 3500 microfilms. These collections contain primary sources on a variety of subjects about Latin America. We also have unpublished Ph.D. dissertations on microfiche.
