The collection consists of books, journals and microforms about Latin America. Our collection can be searched through the catalogues of the Library of the University of Amsterdam. There are facilities for reading, studying, printing, copying and scanning.
CEDLAlibrary is a blog for students and researchers interested in the CEDLA Library collection and Latin America in general. In CEDLAlibrary you find news about our library and its collection, information on research updates, research resources and other information of the academia that can be useful for students, scholars and library visitors interested in the Latin American region. UvA CataloguePlus gives access to databases and e-journals. All digital content is freely available within various UvA libraries from the general access PCs. UvA students and staff members can access databases and e-journals to which the Library subscribes also from outside the UvA by logging in with their UvAnetID.
To borrow books from the Library, you must have a UvA or HvA student or staff ID card or a library card. More information about borrowing from UvA.
The CEDLA Library has an extensive collection of print journals. E-journals can be found through the UvA Catalogues. To find articles you can use the UvA CataloguePlus, or, for articles about Latin America only, HAPI online (available within the UvA domain).
